Happy Halloween - the week after results!

One year I found a dead lizard, the whole body, while poop scooping. His head was sticking out of one end of a rather large pile (yep - poop from a golden retriever) and his tail stuck out of the other end. At first I thought it was a toy. Nope.

Well this week I found a chewed up ten dollar bill (yes I did contemplate retrieving it but it was in too many pieces and the mess was even beyond my drive to get the bill back in shape); a delicate pair of black lace panties (not nearly as pretty as the purple thing a few years ago); several leftover foil candy wrappers adding a glint in the sun as I did my job and incredibly healthy looking poop in every yard!

Many of you may not realize that I do look carefully at the product of my job. A professional pooper scooper knows that the poop can tell a lot of stories, some unfortunately are sad. I knew a few weeks before it happened that one dog was dying by the look of his stools. We can detect stress, bad diets, disease and misbehavior before you or your vet even knows. Of course we let you know right away.

Lately I have notice the quality of almost all of my clients dogs poop has been very healthy. The main reason I believe this to be the case it we as a public have become more aware of how dog food has improved and its impact on your dogs' health. So if you feel your dogs output is less and harder congratulate yourselves. You are doing a good job of feeding properly!

Now, if I could just find a winning lottery ticket out there in the yards - I would retrieve that!
